Every year since 1875, the prestigious Academy of Architecture awarded some forty winners at an official ceremony.
Romain Gilbert was awarded the Métiers d’Art medal on June 13th.
This distinction is in recognition of his magnificent work as a contemporary cabinetmaker and the success of Mallet Stevens’ project to restore the furniture of the Villa Cavrois, which he directed in the Fabrication workshop between 2014 and 2015.
